When I first heard the idea that the players should decide the punishment for Carlos Tevez's little spat at the weekend I was a little bit apprihensive (yes I can't spell) I felt that if he's fined to much it will make him hate the West Ham regulars, which he hardly knows yet, or if he was fined to little it would not be much of a punishment but the reported £14,000 (daily mail) is about right I think.

The idea of him spending time training in a kit, which to him is what a germany kit is to us, is absolutely fantastic. He will be made to look and feel very silly for a little while and I feel the other West Ham players would also see it as a joke and is something they can all laugh at for a while and have Carlos Tevez as the butt of the joke but not in a bad way. As he is in on the joke he will also be able to enjoy it.

I have been thinking of other things he may have worn. What do people think of stockings and suspenders with a brazillian shirt?

Fair enough, I just hope that Pardew plays him in every game from now on. He's easily the best player in West Ham's squad.

I would also admit that he is a very good player and on the world scale he is higher then any other player is the West Ham squad he just needs time to settle in and I hope he does before he probably leaves at the end the the season.

Plying in the premiership is one of the most difficult chances to make in the world of football. Veron couldn't do it, neither could Crespo and neither could Postiga just to name a few. Ronaldo was the first portuguese player to come in and crack it (Boa Morte came through the arsenal youth team) lets hope Tevez is the first argie to do it followed closely by Javier Mascherano.

Boa Morte cost Arsenal 1.75m from Sporting Lisbon when he was 19,so I would'nt say he came through the Arsenal youth ranks.
I would say Heinze and Arca have cracked the premiership, they are both Argies.
Maybe Tevez was just over rated to start with? I mean, all this world claa palava is nonsense. You seen the guys international record?Makes Heskey look prolific.
Neither player has achieved a great deal in their career to date, and certainly did'nt ever warrant being labelled world class(Henry,Cannavaro,Ronaldinho etc)
A lot of supporters got carried away when they first signed because they are brilliant on the football manager computer game series!!
They are to players with potential, nothing more.
They deserve as much time to settle in as any other 22 yr old prospect.
Should'nt expect too much too soon.

Oh really? So what's happened to Heinze and Arca then? havn't they both been stuck out in the widlerness somewhere for the past couple of years? Not living up to their reputations as normal? But your probably right about Boa Morte! Also your right that they deserve more time then thery're going to get.

Also, don't forget the 2 Spuds, Ardilles and Villa. It was the old Premiership (1st Division) but, they were great players.
If Tevez and Mascherano win the FA cup for us, wouldn't it be a nice send off (if they go, of course).
personally, I hope they stay and prove themselves with us.
