Shaun Wright Phillips

West Ham United

What do we think all? He's already a proven premiership player & I think if we could get him for the right price he could become an icon at West Ham. We seem to be lacking a little on the wide right as Yossi likes to come inside rather than make runs on the wing. Is 10M too big an asking price for a player that Chelsea paid 21M for not too long ago???

SWP would be a great buy for the hammers and the move would be good for the player too. He would be an important part of a young squad with a strong Enlish core, i think he's confidence will return and we will see what he is capable of. A goor deal for West Ham and England

SWP is a rubbish footballer now. He'll get slightly better at West Ham but not enough to make you go Wow.

West Ham are mugs to bid £10 million for him. As usual, they get carried away with buying English players rather then buying quality players first

It's hard for me to say but I think Chelsea have completely messed up the whole SWP affair - for this reason I hope that we can do a deal with West Ham. He's a great player but never really fitted into Chelsea's system. Hopefullt this can be resolved quickly and fairly......once he gets a few games, I'm sure that he will show what a great asset he is for club and Country

I think getting SWP will be a terrific buy. we lack on the right hand side with yossi benayound always looking inside.
SWP offers us pace nd skill on the right hand side. I think 10mil is a good price, now we have the new chairman who can supply the funds.

Well said mate, i'm a hammer too and i also think
slav a whats his face talks rubbish too.Yids are all the same, blurs, sorry spurs are no better than west ham. They are having a crap season, trailing to their arched rivals at the moment.I would put money on us Hammers finishing above the yids!! 6 England players-what is he on? like i said before-foreign rejects!

I think that SWP would be better off back at Man City, as a City fan you could say I'm biased, but the guy is a total legend there, and it would be a massive boost to us if we do manage to sign him, on and off the pitch. Any club that signs him will make their money back in shirt sales in no time, Haha, maybe not, but you never know. I don't dislike westham, but I think that it would be a bad move for SWP to go there. He should and hopefully will come back to the club that picked him up when others said he wasnt good enough.

Personally, being a loyal city fan i think that SWP should return home like the prodigal son. Eastlands should welcome him home with open arms so he can cause terror the way he used to do. Also i want to chant "SHAUNIE WRIGHT WRIGHT WRIGHT"

We do need to get a bit more involved in midfield. The defence have to strengthen up and the our strikers have to start scoring other than that we´re fine. It´s true we need a right winger so that yossi can come inside and etherington has a bit of balance.

You might as well buy his brother Bradley!
Surely the priority is a full back and another central defender and Makele or Essien in midfield alongside the British version Reo Coker? Injuries and Argentinians have dealt the Hammers a cruel blow!
