In the Semifinals of the Elf Cup 2006 [23-XI-2006][held in Ataturk Stadium , Lefkosa [Nicosia] in Northern Cyprus], Crimea defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-2. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus under the leadership of Ertaç Taskiran and Coskun Ulusoy defeated Zanzibar 5 goals to 0 at the following minutes 24, 34, 47, 83.
Finals will be held on the 25th of November 2006. Barring any last minute accident, North Cyprus will be the first winners of the Elf Cup defeating Crimea 6-0.
