Man U vs Chels

Premiership Manchester United

This game will be important for both teams. A draw will do none a favour. A win for chelsea and they are back on level terms, a win for man utd and they are 6 points clear. So both teams will attack.
In my honest opinion man u will win simply because they have more hunger for the title and they use their width better. Chelsea as efficient as ever but they have become too stiff as a team and fergie will tell his players to strech chelsea on the wings. Jose knows this and I excpect him to play robben to try and counter attack this. United will need to have their defenders on top form as chelsea have world class players who can score goals. They also need scholes to work his magic in the middle of the park and ronaldo and giggs will need to rip chelsea on the run. Also rooney needs to dictate play upfront and we have to hope that saha scores by taking his chances.
My doubt is carrick. He is a great mover of the ball, he passes and creates space but in this game i really wish we had either got hargraeves or had park and not injured. Man u need a strong showing from carrick if they are to win. Chelsea have strength in the middle comming from essien and makelele so fergie needs to address this problem.
What do you think about this game?

lol, have you ever been to watcha game at cheslea in the past 4 years? im guessing not. our tickets are probably the most expensive, and for a game, true fans knew that we wernt gunna win, why would they spend 50quid?

when our capacity is increased, ticket prices wil drop, because now, they are so high to compete with other large incomes due to high capacity stadiums. everyone sells, 80000 tickets, and sells them for 15quid, we sell 40000 tickets for 50quid (not literally)

i tried getting tickets for the game against sofia, 65quid... the day i see a ticket onsale for 65pounds for man u members, well that day will never come.

i see man u as a big club, yes, and there success, hmmm, we all seem to notice chelsea's money, but that is only because a couple of billion could be considered a high sum of money theese days, and players want ridicoulous contracts. when man u and real became big, they were the RICHEST CLUBS IN THE WORLD! no1 seems to understand this. and yes real went and brought all the big names. chelsea are different, we brought unknown players and made them noticed. i know u are going to list drogba, and geremi, and sheva, ballack, n maybe robben n joe, but u forget and be truthful, about the nobodies as they were, kalou, cech, essien, boularouz, who have all made 1st team football this season.

i h8 chelsea h8ers, who are just jelous, that for once, a club bsides them is succesful, and a rival club for that matter, i still remember we beat man u 5-0, i got that on tape :D and i still remember, battering tromso hehe, that was an enjoyable match, i got zolas signature that game, i admit we dont have the supporterss with the same passion anymore, due to the rich ***** we call business men buying all the tickets, and drinkin tea in the middle of a game, and commenting politley on a goal :p

but i think a bigger stadium with affordable tickets, will bring the true fans back, and chelsea will be whole again :D

I think both teams will need courage and luck to win their respective games tomorrow. I being forever the optimist think bolton will snatch a draw and United will deliver at OT as the players now know from last two years its these games that decide the title.Heres hoping. Hows the injury situation ? saha, ronaldo?

the sunday game will have taken a lot out of both teams.

its an opportunity for everton and bolton. its times like this when chelsea's squad may prove more resilient. ours is too thin.

how long can giggs and scholes play three times a week ?

Agreed, the fact is I really don't see much of a difference between O'Shea and Carrick when playing with Scholes but you see them in a Scholes-less midfield you begin to question that.

The hope was that Fletch would do a job in the centre, he has done it with O'Shea against Charlton with O'Shea but was rubbish with Jones against Southend even when he was moved to the wing.

Last year we had Rooney and Ferdinand in midfield... if Scholes and Carrick and O'Shea were injured we may see this again. But we don't have Ruud we have Solskjaer... that should force a rethink.

Essien a nobody? Why did you pay over £20 mil for him then? Why were several of the top clubs in Europe after him including Utd until Chelsea flashed their millions and scared everyone else off.

The money isn't the main reason I hate Chelsea.
1. The arrogance of Mourinho and Kenyon.
2. Fair weather fans. 15 years ago you struggled to get 20,000 to a game, where have all these fans suddenly emerged from?
3. This notion that you have always been a big club? You were in the second division for years. Until Abramovich came along you were about to go bust. You hadn't won the league for 50 years. Before Abramovich you were probably joint 3rd in London for biggest team.
4. Your style of play. Yes it's effective, tyes the players you have are supreme athletes, but go your boring to watch, at least bring back the wingers.
5. Ashley Cole's tapping and then transfer. Enough said on that matter.

I'm a Utd fan and we had been vilified by the rest of the country for years and yes a lot of it does come from other fans being jealous of your success, but the problem is when other teams became great (Liverpool in the 70's & 80's, Utd in the 90's and Arsenal a few years ago) most other fans at least admired what they had done. To me Chelsea don't deserve admiration.

Admiration can wait (esp. from Manu fans) - success is what's important and no matter how many times you slag us off winning the CL/PL/FA cups will be pleasure in itself.

that comment that mimicked the mastercard advert is very hypocritical, man u spent £30 m on ferdinand
£30 m for rooney, nt sure how much for ronaldo but i think its over £20 m. So they are just a few examples of how BOTH man u and chelsea spend big to get were they were.
=========================
£12.4m on Ronaldo actually. Jealousy is such a bad thing when you're skint!!!
