Robben considers future

comment on the article

Robben is the latest player to talk about his position at Chelsea.

He's come out and talked about his unhappiness at his lack of games.

This is surely the inevitable outcome when a club has world class players who have limited opportunity. Realistically, how long can Chelsea expect to keep hold of them?

Also, flair players seem to constantly be sacrificed for a more defensive approach by Mourinho.

Chelsea's huge wealth does unfortunately seem to be having a damaging effect on the careers of a few players.

How many times does he have to explain why he moved before you believe him?
He moved for his FAMILY end of.
I know he'd probably prefer to have stayed in Italy, everyone does but he cares more about his family than football which makes him a far better man than you seem to think with your petty snipping at him.

****

he moved for his family? explain that one...

his wife is from Milan right? His kids grew up there, went to school there had all their friends their?

anyways for whatever reason he moved it has not been working out for him. i am sure he will score a lot more goals this season but i dont think he is happy.

it seems like Crespo all over again.

No,his wife is American and wanted to live in a country where the language was English and their children would speak English.Ideally she wanted the US but realised he still wanted football hence the compromise in England.
Geeeeeeeeez.

See Ka5 you don't even read these papers that you take so much notice of.He has told why a 100 times but you apparently missed it AS USUAL.

-----------------------

His wife is an American model who cannot speak his native language. They both speak Italian but Sheva wants to learn English which is his wife's native language. He wants his children to learn English and learn a good education in England.

Perhaps his preference is just settling down in England with his wife and kids. He is 30 now and needs to think about his family's future.

I think it is very unlikely he wants to move back to Italy so soon.

Doolan didn't you read any of the posts before posting?
Secondly have you ever been to Milan?
It has some of the poorest dirtiest areas in all of Europe. And yes,I have lived there.

"We decided together for the best interests of our family.

"I don't speak English, my wife does not speak Ukrainian - the only language we have in common at the moment is Italian.

"The only way to be able to teach our children our love that we have for them is the English language."

Oh.looks like it was for his family after all.

Well,Doolan, you'll have to trust me on this one but Milan has areas that are second only to Marseille as places you would definitely not want to visit.

yeah milan is an industrial waste land with some nice places to eat.

but I still think Sheva is not happy with the move.

I dont see why in one post you attack me for repeating paper talk but then you go on to take Sheva's pro-Chelsea paper talk as gold.
