I've heared loads of rumours over the past few days about possible signings coming into the club on free etc. One is the Chile Midfielder that we were meant to have signed in the Summer - Pardo. The other is Abel Xavier- although it looks like he is staying with Boro. There is also rumours that we are going to be busy in January! The players I've heared about is David Dunn and Matty Upson, David Vaughn (Crewe) and Montella (Roma)

Nakamura would be an excellent signing, he is fast and a great free kick taker & i bet he would jump at the chance of playing in the premiership as scottish league is always a 2 horse race! I think we defo need some attacking flair as in a lot of games i have seen this season we lack creativity!

Haha! What would you guys say to bringing Barry Ferguson back! Is it just me or is every Rovers fan loving his situation at the moment?

I think Nakamura would be great for us, but I'm not too sure if he would come. HE will get much better money at Celtic and Champo League football.

I would like to say I take back my commen tabout not missing Nonda, but he is very slow, which oftemn makes it look like he isnt trying!

I agree also that Fletcher would never come to Blackburn, Fergie loves him and he is a pretty regular starter. Beckham is merely a fanatasy, hes about to sign a new contract by the lokks of things anyway!

We need a right back, central midfeilder and perhaps a new striker in the summer.

We should sell Neill now without a doubt coz he has already decided to go!

Nakamura is a great player, no doubt. But if we were to sign him then where would he play?

He isn't an all action midfielder so he cant replace Savage, there's no way Bentley can be dropped this season and Tugay is our best player this year!

He would just end up playing when Tugay is being rested and i don't think he would leave Celtic and big money to be a bit-part player at Rovers!

So anyone got any suggestions as to replacements for Neill and Tugay, when he finally retires (hopefully not too soon)?

Well hopefully we will get Nemanschniy or Warnock to replace Neill and as for Tugay - i think Hughes needs to get his scouts out searching for someone who we might not expect, a hidden gem, like when we got Ryan Nelsen!

Yeah that is a good idea, get an unknown in. I still think that Tim De Cler is a good option for a right back.

yeah, problem with Montella is hes already gone to Fulham. As for Beckham your having a laugh right? As much as I love the mighty Rovers I dont think well be able to match his wage demands. Loan untill the end of the season might be an option, but thats only if Real will pay half his wages for us smiley
Nakamura? yes please!! Good replacement for Tugay when he retires, and to fill in the hole that will be left if we pick up a serious injury (like the unlucky Garcia)

Beckham would never ever come to us, the only link is Hughes and that is a fine one at that!!! Nakumura would not leave celtic as he is playing champions league footy at the moment.
