Real Madrid

I am a Real Madrid fan, and at the same time I have always liked Beckham and his play when he was with Man U. But what is he thinking with not leaving Real in January. For some reason Beckham does not realize that he screwed up his football world when he left Man United. Now he thinks that he his happy in Spain and is going to win his place back. OPEN YOUR EYES.....they start The 40 year old Raul in your position now over you. LEAVE Real and go back to the Preimership!! Real is not going to win anything again this year, deal with that and cut your losses. I have no idea what Beckham expects to accomplish with wasting another year in Spain. He has done nothing the last three years except waste them. How much better would he have played for England if he was still here on a regular basis?? Maybe it is Tom Cruise telling him to stay in Spain??

If Beckham stays at Real Madrid, it will be for one reason only - Money....being part of RM is good for his brand even if he's on the bench. I can tell you it wont be because of his love of football.

I dont think even Beckham is aware of how his priorities have become so muddled - he should have listened to Sir Alex all those year's ago because ultimately as things stand he is now more known for his celebrity status than his football. Every decision he makes will be as much about how it affects his brand as it does his football (if not more so)

This is very sad but it serves as a warning to all footballers who may be tempted to think that they can promote themselves to the top rather than play football

Beckham is doing what few seem to realise its crazy, hes biding his time to the end of the season when he'll he'll leave on a Bosman free and pocket the transfer fee himself... 5million Real want if he leaves in January... Beckham when it comes to money is not stupid and he'll leave to another club wherever that is with a nice little earner...

so it's about the money not football. Any player who is prepared to sit on the bench for a whole season for the sake of money (especially when he has no real need of it) has lost sight of what football is about.

He must be thinking about his England place - it's the one thing that he must be gutted about - very confussing <erm>

Chelseafrombirth... hes coming to the end of his career playing (if only every now and again) for a major european team... warming the bench isnt what he wants fair enough but im saying hes not dumb enough to leave in Jan to make Real 5million when he can get it himself 6months later...

He won't come back here.

seemingly he is going to celtic. but we dont rate him . we have far far better players than beckham the passenger.mcgeedy maloney nackamura etc. are streets ahead of beckham who couldnt stand the pace of the scottish league anyway . he would be far better going to your slow F.A. league

Beckham made the biggest mistake of his career by concentrating on the image and making money and hence destroying what was once a glorious relationship with Sir Alex F.
David B was a god at Old T and will go down in folk law but sadley I feel not a legend. If he was still there he would most probably still be playing regulaly for club and for England - look at Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes to see how they have matured into great players and legends!!
Yes Fergie is a stubern old man who sold him but his mind is always United and staying focused.
Who welcomed him back with open arms and a protective blanket after the world cup in 1998??
Good luck Becks for your future - but will brand Beckham make David B retire sooner rather than later.

The best thing Beckham could do is play in spain for another decent side like valencia. Alternatively go to Italy and play for Roma/inter etc. He is still a great player.
