Capital(RED) (U6168449) posted Oct 29, 2006 Liverpool need to start a 12-game winning streak, better than last year to have a chance for second or third. We still have Bellamy to come back, but we have to play Arsenal soon. I think we should play 4-3-3 with bellamy, crouch and kuyt with momo, alonso and gerrard. In football there is always a chance, maybe a slip up by the top two, and the title race could be a three-horse race by February!

Antirafa (U6345878) posted Oct 29, 2006 finishing 4th will only sereve to paper over the cracks. not good enough. Benitez has to go, and don't tell me he won this or that. success was inspite of him and not becuse of him. Stevei G won those things by leading and inspiring those around him. I challenge any one who thinks Liverpool under this regiem woulld be anything other than relegation strugler if SG was not in the side. Benitez I'm afraid is clueless.

Antirafa (U6345878) posted Oct 29, 2006 Liverpool should have tried their best to get Martin O'neil. Now there's a man who knows his stuff when it comes to english football. and before any one says this or that, I would rather win the premeir league than any other trophy.

Antirafa (U6345878) posted Oct 29, 2006 to be consistant, the team needs to be managed by some one who ahs an idea, unfortunately Benitez is not that person. Come on LFC fans wake up and smell the coffee, this guy is no good.

rickfrayne (U6410797) posted Oct 29, 2006 How are you? Live outside Liverpool no doubt and communicate under an alias. Rafa Benitez is the best thing to happen to Liverpool FC since King Kenny. Everything takes time. If you want instant success go and support Chelsea.

In Rafa we trust (U2719013) posted Oct 30, 2006 This is the best football I have seen for ages. We were fortunate to watch live on TV, and what a delight. If Liverpool continues to play like they did against Aston, then may be, we can start climbing the league table.

Im_partial (U5448245) posted Oct 30, 2006 This match was a step in the right direction. Attacking football, good attitude and finishing. I felt that we could have had 5 or 6 with a bit of luck. Now we have to keep scoring and winning our away games to keep the momentum going.
