Arsenal-simply the best

Premiership Arsenal
comment on the article

Arsenal are, quite simply, the best foot-balling side on the planet.

They're the most attractive team to watch and their style of football is capable of ripping opponents to shreds.

What amazes me is how Wenger has assembled a side which plays on this level but rarely spends the amounts that other managers do. He brings in young players who develop into world class players.

Yes, Ferguson has achieved great things and is one of the best managers in history, but Wenger is just an absolute genius. Wenger's taken football to another level in this country which cannot be equalled by many, if any, clubs in Europe and, in my opinion, he's the finest manager around and the best in Premiership history.

i've watched Robinho and messi play a couple of times and must comment that while i have seen the earlier drift away during games e.g (Madrid vs Arsenal), i've not,... infact never seen Messi have an indifferent game. Or maybe i'm wrong?

I'm not a completely rabid fan. Messi's had some not so great games for Argentina (he wasn't on top form v Holland in the WC, and he was pretty mediocre v Brazil in a friendly). For Barca, though, he's very reliable - more so than Ronaldinho (although I wouldn't claim he's a better player yet).

Messi is pure quality, specially if you consider his age. He is strong, fantastic vision and a nightmare for his defender.
I was not praising him so much until now, as Sport and EL Mundo Deportivo usually put Barcelona players far too high, but he surely deserves that.
One more thing: let him grow even more. Don't spoil the kid too much, as we may be looking at a very specail player soon.

Messi has a level of talent comparable to the young Maradona, and is also level-headed and sensible - therefore there are no limits as to what he can achieve.
I think AW is a truly great manager, a visionary who trusts young players.

I am not an Arsenal supporter, but there is no doubt that that they play a beautiful game of football. Their skill on the field is really a treat to watch.

You have a great collection of players - Henry, Fabregas, Van Persie and Rosicky are top notch talents.

about Messi,he is one of the players whom i think will vanish soon out of the seen before we can see a great play out of him because of the toll of injury he has made himself in in his stylish play.
