If Sven was still in charge...

What would have happened against Croatia? My guess is we'd have given a fairly dour performance and either drawn or won by a single goal. The media and fans would then have slated the team and manager for an insipid display making such comments as "we should be beating the likes of Croatia comfortably, it shouldn't be a struggle" and "where is the flair, where is the passion" etc.

I wonder, does the fact that McClaren is seemingly going to struggle to get our over-rated players to perform mean that people will realise Sven actually did a pretty good job or will it just make them make ludicrous claims like that he ruined the players and that is why they are now rubbish?
