One Chance.... I think that they are finally supposed to be dropping their debut album this year, after hearing what seems like an endless stream of tracks in 07/08.

JLS if they do what they good at: their RnB ting. i think they'd be a great RnB group for the UK providing they get to make their own decisions and dont get all pop'd up and too commercialised. if u look back to their early xfactor auditions they were killin it. some of the live shows were just not them.
lets hope they get to stay true to their own stuff and dont get controlled by their label
...quite unlikely though isnt it.

JonnyG i dont agrre with you Uness has no chance at all to break out this year, he will probably blow on the blogsphere but not on radio, remember Ryan has been struggling to getting his release, Leslie has more profile than Uness.

Uness has better vocals and is a lot more marketable than Ryan.
They could market him as the next Justin Timberlake (even though he's clearly not and miles better), get him to drop the chorus for a few big hip hop tunes and put out an album late on in the year that goes platinum.
It's definitely possible - as an artist I think he's more chart friendly than Ryan. Only time will tell I guess.

Hey Kevykevykelvin - why can't we put R Les down after us fans have tipped him for 2007 and 2008?! 2009 will FINALLY see the release of his album so we reserve the right to mention him!
Ryan Leslie will be BIG in 2009. There i said it!
I hope i don't have to write the same in 2010 cos his albums been pushed back (yet) again!

I would KILL for a Uness album...I'm still narked that 'Talk' isn't a past #1 smash...but I'm thrilled Ryan Leslie FINALLY see's an album released - I honestly thought after the years of waiting/pushbacks/leaked tracks etc that Next Selection would continue to be a cult favourite and never one for the masses - hopefully that'll change this year. Now all R Les needs to do is get back with Latif and sort a follow up to 'Love In The First' and I'll be happy!

Possibly Shontelle if we're including her as RnB? she seems to be all over the net at the moment. And she's tremendously hot.

latif has quit with the artist sides of things.. hes more into the 'writing' aspects and demos..
the tracks you may have heard recently and in the past couple of years have all been demos..
its a good look tho, the writers are the ones that make the money anyway.. hes had some big placements already..
as for uness, theres some problems over there, so dont expect too much from him from this year.. prob jus' a undeground ep or maybe if we're really lucky a cd on cdbaby.

I think Lee Carr will, he signed to jive records last year which is the same as chris brown, rihanna e.t.c and already released an amazing single on itunes called breathe. His debut album is meant to be released sometime this year, pencilled in for at least the first half
