Some heavy snow tonight in eastern parts, clearing tomorrow.

This Evening and Tonight:
A period of snow will develop tonight, giving some large accumulations by the end of the night. It will be very cold with icy roads an added hazard.

Wednesday:
The snow will ease away southwards during the morning with skies brightening up slowly from the north. Surfaces will remain icy and it will feel bitterly cold.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Staying very cold with a mixture of sunshine and wintry showers. These will be mainly of snow, particularly inland and over high ground. Feeling bitterly cold in the wind.
