Rural
businesses on the moors are desperate for your support
|
Thank
you
The general public have helped so much during the past four months, please
stick with it for a little while more and use any disinfectant foot baths
wherever you see them.
There is a possibility that this foot and mouth outbreak was caused by
imported meat. You just may have a bit in your pie or sandwich that you
have brought with you for your picnic.
Please take home all your scraps, crusts, pastry and wrappers when you
leave, they could just cause a recurrence of the problems. Do not throw
them away for the birds and beasts at this crucial time.
Thank you so much.
Better still
There is one even better suggestion.
The rural businesses have really suffered this year, we are now at mid-summer
and they've had a rough, tough and difficult time up to now.

Enjoy
the moors but respect the
unwritten rules
|
Instead
of carrying your food with you why not drop into one of the many pubs,
cafes, restaurants, local shops or post offices and buy yourselves a snack,
drink, lunch and/or cream tea from them, and help them get back on their
feet again.
What's more I can guarantee that you will enjoy every "slurp"
and "mouthful" of "Good Old Traditional Deb'm Fayre".
We'll welcome you with open arms.
Good Luck, happy Wandering, and keep your fingers crossed for all of us.
