Tiny Tim
Tiny by name, tiny by nature!

A nine-week-old puppy from North Devon is only nine weeks old but he could turn out to be one in a million.

Why? Because he's just four inches long...and what's more his owner doesn't think he'll get much bigger!

Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, and Tiny Tim, as he's been called, comes in a very small size.

By now, Tiny Tim should have grown to twice his size. But he remains...well....tiny.

Mum and dad are much bigger, and even his brothers and sister are twice as big.

Owner Mandy Marks from East Buckland said: "The puppies were all a similar size at birth.

However, by the time they were about six weeks old it was quite apparent that this one was significantly smaller than the rest.

"And when the others went last week he was half their size."

Tiny Tim's mother, a long haired Chihuahua called Sparkle, is about 14 inches long. His dad is a Shih Tzu called Patch.

Although they're quite a bit bigger, Tim is unlikely to be anything other than tiny.

However, he's no pushover and knows how to stand up for himself: "He is a chirpy little chap," said Mandy.

"He held his own against his brothers and sister who when playing with him were rather rough because they were so much bigger.

"He is always pleased to see anyone and comes charging across the room as fast as he can."

Three dogs and a cat are enough pets for Mandy, so with a heavy heart she'll be selling Tiny Tim to a good home. He won't need much space!
