Big Screen Plymouth

The Big Screen in Plymouth city centre's Piazza is becoming a focal point for civic and community events, together with a variety of special screenings. All the events are free to attend so make a note in your diary.

Thur 12 November: 6pm Christmas Lights Switch-On

Plymouth launches its Late Night Christmas festivities - join the fun with Britain's Got Talent dance sensation George Sampson and panto star Christopher Biggins.

The entertainment starts on stage in Armada Way at 4pm  and builds towards the big switch-on at 6.25pm. Watch it all on the Big Screen.

Sun 15 November: 7pm Strictly For Pudsey

BBC presenters from across Devon and Cornwall take to the dance floor to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

The BBC radio and TV celebrities will team up with professional dancers in a Strictly For Pudsey dance competition at the Plymouth Guildhall. The event itself is a sell-out, but you can come along and watch the action free of charge of the Big Screen from 7pm.  

Tue 22 December: 7pm Sing Christmas

Join BBC Radio Devon for a special Christmas carol concert bringing together communities across South West England. The Big Screen will be one of a host of venues singing along in this interactive event.
