East Devon indie band Noise Annoys Simon audition their song, Only Being Real.

Q: Tell us about Noise Annoys Simon.
A: We are Simon Bishop (vocals, guitars), Andy Ward (guitar, backing vocals), James Ward (bass), and Rich Ward (drums). We are based in Tipton St John near Sidmouth.

We formed in 2006, when Simon and Rich became neighbours. All four members have been in bands for too long to mention.

A: Blistering indie pop.

Q: How did you get your name, Noise Annoys Simon?
A: By mistake - a signing off message on a text.

Q: Which song are you auditioning?
A: Only Being Real. It's a story of a two-year-old girl who falls asleep on the stairs.

A: "...We'll bring back Top of the Pops.
