Oddicombe Beach is situated in the Babbacombe/St Marychurch area of Torquay - a couple of miles away from the town centre. It's at the bottom of red sandstone cliffs - which the more energetic among us can walk up and down via steps. However, there is also a cliff railway which takes you to the bottom and top of the cliffs. ![]() The view from the cliffs above Oddicombe Beach Oddicombe is a shingle beach with sailing, paddleboats, deckchair/pedallo hire, beach huts and slipway. There is also a café/restaurant, disabled visitors' facilities, lost child centre, first aid and promenade. How to get to Oddicombe: The best way is to go to Babbacombe Downs in Torquay. Parking is ˝ mile from the beach. From there, you can use the cliff railway or walk down steps to the beach.
