Miss Kitty

Miss Kitty - a purrfect sound?

Miss Kitty

Exeter singer songwriter Miss Kitty dreams of headlining Glastonbury and having a dinner date with Johnny Depp. The track she is auditioning here is Just A Kiss.

Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: I worked as a backing singer with a couple of bands and then started working on my own material. I'm based in Exeter - it's a great place for shopping.

Q: What's the name of your band?
A: Miss Kitty and the Cat's Whiskers - it's me, and they are.

Q Who's who in the band?
A: A bunch of strays I picked up on piano, guitar, bass and drums.

Q: Which three words best describe your music?
A: The Dog's Swingers.

Miss Kitty

Just a Kiss, Just A Kiss

Q: What has been your most memorable gig?
A: Headlining Glastonbury (Well, in my dreams it has).

Q: Whose records do you have in your collection?
A: A large mix of bands and solo artists, plus a lot of local musicians.

Q: If you could have three guests to dinner, who would you invite and why?
A: If Johnny Depp came to dinner, I wouldn't invite any more guests. Would you still want to know why?

Q: Which song are you auditioning>
A: It's called Just A Kiss. I wanted to see how many times I could repeat the line in one song.

Q: Complete the sentence "When we become famous..."
A: "...I can give up the day job."

Q: In your own words, sell yourself:
A: I think we make purrfect music together.
