Drivechain

Test-drive Drivechain here

Drivechain

Drivechain are an unsigned rock band based in Exeter. They've made a CD of songs, entitled New Protocol. Here, they audition one of the tracks, Black Honey.

Q: Who is in Drivechain?
A: Matt Roberts on vocals, Jonathan Wood on guitar, Matt Parr on drums, and Chris Glew on bass.

Q: Where are you based?
A: Exeter.

Q: What's the history of the band?
A: It was formed by Matt in 2003. We wanted to form a cool band with people who we enjoyed spending time with, and with whom we could be creative.

Q: Whose records do you have in your collections?
A: More than we can list here. We are influenced by so many things - let's just say we are very broad in what we listen to at home.

Q: What's the name of the track you are auditioning?
A: It's called Black Honey.

Q: In your own words, sell yourself.
A: We practice and refine our sound continually because we enjoy and feel strongly about what we do; musicianship, melody, and the power of the riff.
