Beach Guide

Goodrington South Beach in Paignton has everything a family needs for a great day out at the seaside.

It's a long, sandy beach, lined with beach huts - with the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway running along the coastline.

There are toilets, pubs, restaurants, food outlets and amusement arcades, as well as a Seashore Centre and a park. The Quaywest waterpark is right next door.

Visitors can hire canoes, paddle boats and deckchairs. There is also a pay car park.

Access for disabled people is good.

How to get there: From Paignton, take the coast road heading towards Brixham and Goodrington is signed. There is a regular bus service.
