Q: What's your history in music?
A: I was given a guitar two years ago for my birthday and shortly after that began writing songs. I write a lot of material and enjoy it immensely.
Q: Which three words best describe your music?
A: Ballads, acoustic, easy listening (OK, I know that's four really...)
Frank goes country
Q: What's the name of the track and it's history?
A: It's called Background Noise. The song came about after hearing those two words in a film. I wanted to make the point we should all follow our hearts. It takes a lot of courage sometimes to do that.
Q: Is all the music on the track played by you?
A: I play the guitar, some music is performed by a friend called Jonathon Lee.
Q: What do you think of the current music scene?
A: It's a little rappy sometimes, but all in all it's fairly sound.
Q: So far what's your most memorable gig?
A: A competition called Riviera Stars that led to some radio coverage, it was wonderful and exciting.
Q: What musicians are in your collection?
A: David Gray, James Blunt, Kristen Leontiou, Daniel Beddingfield, Kate Bush, REM and Queen. I'd love to perform with James Blunt, he's such a passionate singer.
Q: Who would be the three other guests at Frank Tout's fantasy dinner party?
A: James Blunt, Robert Palmer and Celine Dion. They say so much when they sing, such passion and such love of what they do.
Q: Complete the sentence "When I become famous..."
A: ...I want to be the same as I am now, still love what I'm doing and carry on writing and singing.
Q: Whereabouts are you based?
A: Torquay, where else in the world is there?
Q: In your own words, sell yourself:
A: I have a real talent for the written word, I feel I portray a passion when I sing and get the message across that lies within the song.
