Breakwater Beach: Blue Flag Beach

Information on Breakwater Beach, Brixham - one of Devon's Blue Flag beaches.

Breakwater is a small shingle beach adjacent to picturesque Brixham harbour.

It has disabled access with adequate parking at the back of the beach, close to the main facilities associated with a large town resort.

The beach at Breakwater has great access and the water itself looks incredibly blue and inviting! There is a good level of amenities, including a beach shop and nice café/restaurant with superb views across the bay.

There are toilets (including disabled), First Aid facilities, and deckchair hire.

As the beach is right next to the bustling harbourside, there are shops and cafes on hand.

Access:

Access is from the main road to Berry Head and also by an easy level walk around the harbour side from the town centre. There is a local bus service nearby, Bus no.17. There are disabled ramps to the promenade.
