If
there's one area in which the web excels (apart from porn) then it's
in the realm of the unexplained.
Literally thousands of sites have been set up to detail strange phenomenon,
here are some of the best... |

 |
Fortean
Times
Internet home of the popular paranormal magazine. Features tons of
news about weird and wonderful phenomena.
Castle of Spirits
Australian site which deals with ghost tales and sightings. A lot
of work seems to have been put in this site.
Urban Legends
One of our favourite sites in the world, 'Snopes' examines in detail
hundreds of strange rumours from the ghost in 'Three Men and a Little
Lady' to the Munchkin suicide in the Wizard of Oz. Be warned that
once you enter, you'll be hooked for hours!
Surfing the Apocalypse
Another site which claims to have the truth that our 'evil' world
government is keeping from us. Whether you believe it or not, it all
makes for interesting reading.
The X Files
Official website of the ever-popular paranormal TV series - soon to
end, apparently.
Active Mind
Intelligent look at mysterious phenomena.
Alien UK
Wonderful sight which sorts through UK government records for news
of UFO sightings.
Area 51
Brings together research about the most secret military base in the
world.
Ghosts in
Derby
As the name suggests, this site takes a closer looks at where
ghosts live in Derbyshire.
Ghosts and Hauntings
UK
Useful site run by the International Ghosts and Hauntings Society.
Good tips for catching ghosts.
Ghostbusters UK
Not a BBC TV movie but a real UK group who have been in existence
for 15 years. Find out more about them here.
Shadowers
Excellent site which covers a fare amount of paranormal subjects.
Paranormal
Confessions
True stories of paranormal encounters.
The Paranormal
Network
Slightly odd site run by Loyd Auerbach, a real-life ghostcatcher.
