A fantastic start for Derby County with a goal inside the first minute by Morris. The Rams had plenty of chances in the first half but the team didn't seem to be able to cut the mustard.

Stoke took control after Derby's early lead, Akinbiyi taking two bites of the cherry pretty early on, the second try thrashed past Lee Grant bringing Stoke to level terms in the 30th minute.

Derby's game turned defensive but not defensive enough in the second half as Taggart, on loan from Leicester, nipped a second one in for the Potters.

Nice to see the posse of Elvis impersonators shaking their thing at the Britannia Stadium. But disappointing to see an "All Shook Up" Derby County head back to Derby heads hung low like 'hound dogs'..
