Pet Shop Boys: It's a Sinfin
tiny We've invented a new word for the english language - and we want your help to make it famous...

Sitwell n Song or album title cleverly adapted to bring in a place name, person or theme.

'Mondegreens' was the term given to describe a humorously misheard song lyric - but that's so last year - we've got a new word for 2004!

Introducing 'Sitwell' - a completely fresh word for the dictionary. It's our term for a song or album title which has been rejigged ever-so-slightly to include a place name, person or general theme.

Have fun looking at the Derbyshire Sitwells below - and then we want you to add your own.

And who knows? Before long, the name could catch on and become world famous - and we'll all be able to say it started in Derbyshire.

So go on then, start spreading the word...

Sitwells you've suggested so far....
