The popular annual October charity motorbike ride through Derbyshire from Clay Cross to BBC Radio Derby continues this year - it takes place on Sunday 18th October 2009. In past years riders have raised cash for the station's Money Mountain Appeal, this year the tradition continues by raising money for Children In Need. ![]() Scooters and motorbikes are all welcome Last year a total of around 150 bikes, trikes and scooters of all ages and size took part. The event leaves Powersports in Clay Cross High Street at 12.00 Noon and arrives at BBC Radio Derby at approximately 1.00pm. Tea and coffee will be served at BBC Radio Derby. Toilet facilities are available on arrival. The organisers are asking for a £5 donation per bike to the BBC Children In Need appeal to take part.
