i like the badge for all the good itrs done us this season
christopher swain
better than the old 1
jordan martin
I dont like the mustard colour weare Black & White not mustard, get it sorted out....
John Parkinson
i preffered the old one as it was very unique , this one looks the same as a lot of other teams
mighty
i think its a very good crest, and it shows that derby county is changing for the better. who cares if it is retro?? all that matters is that the Ram is standing proud!
Sam Slater
Yes it's a little retro I think. The lettering looks like what used to painted over the Ramtique shop at the Baseball Ground in the 70's. And it looks like a beer mat ;-)I suspect the colours will be black/white/gold so I dont think its yellow and brown Ray. The old crest was probably outdated. Think it was introduced around 1995/6 when Pride Park was built.
Jon
its good .. beats the pants off the 2012 olympic nonsense
ian
yes I rather like it plain and simple
Judy Clarke
The idea is okay but the wording dominates too much - the circular surround should be narrower and wording smaller so that the ram logo dominates.
Richard
The new crest is very eyecatching and i like it!
Theresa Crossman
So glad they've not done a '2012' ..I like this..I'm so pleased the Ram is kept nd not been 're-imagined'!
Niall
I could warm to it and it does show off when the cub was first established. I think the majority will like it. Certainly not a disaster by any means and get the designer to work on a new Olympics emblem for 2012!!!
Daniel
Love the colours and it lets all people around the globe know who we are!
Sara
Take away black circle and would be ok
Colin
Everyone should get behind Derby 100% for the new season so i think this is a good change to mark a turn around in the clubs fortunes
Upul (Sri Lanka)
I like it. Simple but noticeable.
John Ball
love it its simple and very effective ,i agree its looks historical...and i bet it didnt cost £400,000 ..roger,heanor
roger antcliffe
it is horrible looks like a tax disc holder, but its derby so it will grow on me i suppose, new badge for a new era.come on you rams.
andrea warren
I think the old one is better. It looked classier. The large circle is now dominating the ram logo. It looks strange to have just the ram plonked in the middle of that huge circle. I do like the addition of the date though. It gives a reminder of the long history of DCFC. Oh well. I guess we're stuck with it. It probably cost a small fortune anyway. I could have knocked that up for them in MS Paint for a tenner!
HK_Lozzo
It's OK but I wouldn't go further than that. I do like the inclusion of the date the club was formed though but otherwise they should have left things as they were
Steve
I think its great, if the writing was all black it would look to plain, Cant wait to get the new kit!!!Roll on Man U!!!
Paul Collins
brilliant...simple, full of impact...
Joe McCrea
Not sure, maybe will get used to it in time, after seeing it in the new shirt!
Sam
i prefer the old one, if all the writing was in black then maybee it would be better.
adrian horsley
absolutley brilliant. Its bold, it makes a statement, its in your face. Premiership watch out, we are not here to make the numbers up.
John Scott
I think the new crest looks very effective, and I am sure that most if not all Rams fans will like
David Shacklock
Though I like the addition of the 'Est. 1884' text to show the club's history, overall I much preferred the old one: much simpler and more elegant.
Philip
From a designer's point of view, I don't like the mustard colour of the text. It does not stand out enough and would be much better, as already pointed out, in black. The logo will take some getting used to, as I much preferred the previous one. The mustard colour in particular, does not do the logo any justice.
Joe
People are quick to forget that our 3 colours are BLACK, WHITE and YELLOW/GOLD. Therefore the gold lettering is nothing new. The old bage had a YELLOW banner underneath it which has been replaced with a GOLD circle!Anyway. To all these people who dont like it, just wear last seasons shirt in protest!
Derby Duck
It's OK but a bit ordinary. A lot of clubs already have a circular logo and I think the heavy surround draws the attention away from the ram. That said, I'm sure this won't cause such a rumpus as the 2012 logo!!
Yvonne, Blackwell
A fabulous crst that all Derby County supporters will love!
Ray
I dont like it, and also is this anything to do with the new Adidas kit then? Are we going to have a yellow and brown kit now instead of the original Black & white? I hope not.
Sean
I like it! I think the writing should be in black instead of mustard though.
Rambo
I think it looks really good, it looks very much like they have taken this trend off the Man Utd badge from this season which I also think looks great.Hopefully these small touches will look great with the 3 stripes down the arms of the new Adidas shirts next season & mark a great season back in the top flight for the rams
Tim
Like everything else at Derby at the moment.....SUPERB!
K G
Nope- prefered the old one...this looks like it's trying to pretend its historical
MB
I think the badge looks great, it reminds me of the simpler designs of the 60's ansd 70's. All we need now is Hector up front and McFarland at the back!
