Oxfam on Scottish economy debate

Help

Central Scotland SNP MSP John Wilson led a members debate on Oxfam's report on the Scottish economy on 4 September 2013.

The charity's report calls on policymakers, politicians and businesses to look toward the poorer sections of society who still do not benefit from economic growth in Scotland.

Oxfam is also recommending employers pay a minimum hourly rate in line with the recommended living wage of £7.45 per hour and reducing the gap between the highest and lowest salaries.
