Baroness Williams of Trafford and Baroness Jones of Moulsecoomb were introduced to the House of Lords as new peers on 5 November 2013.

Susan Williams, the former Conservative leader of Trafford Council from 2004 to 2009, will sit as a Conservative Peer.

Her main areas of interest are education and health.

Jenny Jones will sit as a peer for the Green Party.

She is the leader of the Green group on the London Assembly, and from 2003 to 2004 served as deputy mayor of London.
