MPs questioned Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin and KPMG on the planned High Speed 2 rail line between London and Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds on 26 November 2013.

On Monday, the government published the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Bill which gives full details of the proposed route between London and Birmingham and environmental impacts.

The HS2 bill and supporting material stretch to 49,814 pages.
