Team Bruno are DanceX Champions!
After seven hard weeks and a nerve-racking final show, Team Bruno have been voted the DanceX Champions!
After a thrilling all-singing, all-dancing final - Bruno was ecstatic to see his team win, while Arlene was clearly devastated for hers.

The Team Bruno contestants - Claire, Marie, Marcquelle, Phoenix and Rana - win a record deal and will go on tour supporting R 'n' B star Rihanna.
Sticking to their recent run of form, having won the last two shows, Team Bruno's 'Fabulous Five' nailed it on the night that counted winning the DanceX title and the fantastic prize of a record deal and supporting Rihanna on her international tour!
It was far from plain sailing though and it was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish...
Team Bruno's Journey to Victory
In the first live show Bruno got lucky getting the opportunity to pick his team first, three times in a row. He went for the big-guns, the divas and the dancers - Claire, Daniele, Marie, Marcquelle, Phoenix, Rana and Rebecca.
But going for the outstanding individuals looked like it was going to be Team Bruno's downfall as they struggled to shed the apparent 'team of individuals' image.
Battle commenced and, amazingly, Team Arlene romped home for the first two shows. In Latin week, Team Arlene made full use of creative choreography and chairs to scoop the victory. Bruno was forced to pick someone to go home from his team and that person was Becky.
It was clear that Arlene's group were bonding whereas Team Bruno just didn't seem to gel. In preparation for the next week's show, Team Bruno struggled to pull together as a group, the strain of the defeat visibly getting to them. And on the night, the fallouts showed as Team Arlene made it two wins on the spin.
The theme was Rock and Roll and, unfortunately when it was clear his team didn't rock, Bruno decided to save 'his voice' in Claire and Daniele's head was the one that had to to roll.
It seemed that Team Arlene was winning the popular vote as she herself admitted they'd been slightly off on the night. Could it be that people didn't like the individual competition of egos in Bruno's team?
Whatever, the gloves were off as Bruno accused Team Arlene of not sticking to the rules and dancing clever but not to the brief. Things were getting personal and Team Bruno looked in real danger of going from five to four.
In the next show, DanceX gambled on Las Vegas impressing the audience and it didn't disappoint. But as the action hotted up, there could only be one winner on the night and, against the odds and for the first time, Bruno's team took top spot forcing Arlene to choose her first contestant to leave.
It felt like payback for Arlene's poor but winning performance the week before and Bruno's group finally seemed to convince the audience they were performing as one. Arlene took the tough choice of putting Camilla against Ife in the head to head and it was Ife that fell short.
And so it came to the semi-final as 2-1 to Arlene. Both teams had 'disco fever' and the pressure was really on. Alongside some light-hearted banter there was a competitive edge between Bruno and Arlene - both desperate to keep all members of their team to go through to the big final.
We learned that shortly before the show Phoenix had found the pressure too much and had walked out on his team. By the night, they'd settled their differences and were there as the self-styled 'Fabulous Five'. They certainly seemed to out-perform Arlene's 'Sensational Six' on the night as the viewers voted Bruno's team the winners.
The tables had completely turned and it was Ashley and Kalvin who had to fight to stay in the competition. Arlene was visibly shaken as she had to make her choice and although she "loved him to bits", she picked Kalvin to go home.
Then there was the final and the rest is history, but the future is bright for DanceX's Team Bruno as they go on tour supporting Rihanna and bag a record deal as from tonight.

I think Team Arlene should have won!! At least all of them sang together- watching team Bruno is like watching a singer (claire) and her dancers!!They struggled with the pressure durng the eshow I don't know what they gona do when the tour and real pressure is on!!!Disappointed

I voted for Bruno's group, but I really think that the best of each group should have formed a third group which would have been the winners. I hope that the best of Arlene's group have Congratulations to the winners!

I'm a bit sad. They were all really good, but for some reason I really liked Arlene's group, I warmed to them. They were all good dancers, (unlike Claire), and the singing was getting better all the time. I'd like to see them get back together with Ife and Kalvin, and perform as a group anyway; they don't need the prize, they just need to do it!

A brilliant series, loved every minute, congrats to team Bruno, commisrations to team Arlene who were also brilliant. I hope all the dancers in the losing team will find work too; e.g, in West-End shows etc, they all deserve the career they want so much, well done all of you!! x

I am sorry, but people seem to have voted for the judges and not the teams. Arlene is a talented woman but not as likeable as Bruno and I think that is why her team did not get the votes they so deserved.THOUGH I THINK THEY WILL ALL GO ON TO DO WELL IN THE WORLD OF ENTERTAINMENT.

Congratulations to Team Bruno! My heart did break for young Ashley, however. Perhaps there will be those who comment or privately opine that Ashley could have taken it with better grace, but the girl is 17, and it is difficult for anyone to handle. You have all improved beyond recognition, win or lose, and you must all be commended for rising to the challenge! Congratulations to all the participants, for having the courage to try! The Fabulous Five danced and sang together as one, not stealing the show but winning it hands down. They gelled as a unit physically, vocally and with their image. They will make Rhianna shine. Well done!They all get my vote esp Maria.

Wrong team won in my opinion. I mean Phoenix almost walked out and had to be begged to stay! What's gonna happen if he does that on tour?? Arlene's team are a strong team and will go far and do much better than Bruno's, runners up always do better.Good luck team Arlene!!!xx

Bruno's team had more personality and blended together better. They're stronger characters who are a lot more fun to watch than Arlene's team.

Both Groups were great but I liked Arlene's Group most of all. They were the most unassuming, humble and great dancers. I am so sorry for them but wish them the best of luck in their careers. I am sure they will not be forgotton. By the way Arlene is fantastic and a credit to the slightly older women. Good for her

Well I'm delighted that both teams didn't let me down!Although, I'm devstated for the other team, I'm sure they won't throw away their dreams, they're gonna be chosen for something else cause remember, it's alwasy the runner-up that does better and lasts longer than the winners!I'm telling you, you haven't seen the last of Daniel, Ashley, Emanuel, Chesley and Camilla...

Bruno's team are never going to sell any records...they just do not go together, such a shame that Arlene's team did not win, yet again the british public have shown that they have no idea about popular culture

Fantastic and well deserved result - thank goodness the British public voted the right way this time. Arlene's team had some good dancers especially Daniel but always sounded like a school muscial whereas Team Bruno sounded like a proper group and their dancing was modern, exciting and really enjoyable to watch!
