Ife becomes the first to leave Team Arlene
Show Five saw all guns blazing as DanceX turned rat pack with Team Arlene and Team Bruno in a Viva Las Vegas themed dance off. But as the action hotted up, there could only be one winner, and for the first time Bruno's team took top spot forcing Arlene to choose her first contestant to leave.
Team Arlene got the show off to a glittering start combining a high energy routine with the glamour of Vegas to 'River Deep, Mountain High'. Arlene thought it was, 'pure theatrical Viagra' and even Bruno gave the group credit but felt at times, 'Las Vegas went a little rough Vegas'.
Team Bruno's dance performance set out to capture the style and glamour of the rat pack days and even a small fall couldn't detract from the professional delivery of the routine according to Bruno.
In the singing round, Team Arlene's performance of 'Lets Call the Whole Thing Off' hit the right note with their leader who said Ashley's performance, 'was like a new person being revealed'. Bruno wasn't so gushing and felt that although the vocals were better than last week there was still room for improvement.
Team Bruno's rendition of 'Moondance' was pure class in Bruno's eyes who said they 'nailed it'. The girls didn't show enough 'warmth' according to Arlene but she did praise Phoenix's performance.
In the final round 'The Rhythm of Life' performed by Team Arlene pumped up the energy in what Arlene called 'contemporary Vegas' but Bruno felt his opponents didn't stick to the brief of the show. Emotions ran high when Bruno said he felt Arlene's team 'didn't follow the rules'.
Team Bruno's final act set out to mix sophistication with excitement and energy. According to Bruno they delivered, he said, 'this is the look for DanceX'.
The two groups performed for a final time to 'A Little Less Conversation', before the result of the vote was announced. Presenter Ben Shephard revealed that Team Bruno had gained the most votes and it was Arlene who had to lose one of her dancers for the first time.
Arlene felt her team should have won this week and that they had all performed much better than they did last week, but she had to make her decision and it was Camilla and Ife who ended up in the final two.
They had one last chance to save their DanceX dream, and both Camilla and Ife gave a strong performance in the final dance off to 'Everybody Needs Somebody'. But Arlene had to decide and regretfully chose to send Ife home even though she said Ife had, 'never let me down'.

Ife was well wicked! I think Daniel should of gone coz all he can do is rap and break dancing! What is Arelene playing at? Go Team Bruno!

ife is awesome. I think she is an amazing dancer. I like camilla as well though, she maybe a better all rounder but ife is sooooo good. I think arlene's team should have won, they were way better this week

I think Camilla has more the 'look' that Arlene is after. Ife is the far superior dancer.

Ife should NOT have gone, greaseball Emanuel should have as his singing on each of the shows have sounded like a cat being strangled!! Really! My whole family kept covering their ears when he sang! Ife was such an amazing dancer. She knew what she was doing all the time and gave sparkle to the routines! There is something speacial about her! However, BRUNOS TEAM TO WIN!!

Yay! Team Bruno have actually won! They can go all the way!! But I think that Camilla should have gone as Ife was much better than her.

Ife shouldn't have gone, she is amazing - but then all of Arlene's Team are amazing but I think that possibly it should be been Camilla.

I'm mystified why Camilla was picked over Ife. The dance off clearly showed their performances were worlds apart. This was terrible judgment by Arlene and it also raises the question:- is this really a dancing competition as we have lost one of the most talented and most loved dancers on the show.

I totally think Arlene made the right decision. Camlla shows true potential and I think Ife's time was up. She ws great but out of the bottom 2 Camilla definately shines brighter! But good luck in the future Ife I think you could still make it you are very talented!GO TEAM ARLENE!!!

I wanted Arlenes team to win but even i had to admit that Bruno's team were better this week. I thought from the start of the programme that if Arlene lost then Ife would go because she didn't stand out as much as usual and i think although she danced better in the dance off, Arlene kept camilla for he vocals.

Great contestants but fed up with the 'bickering' between Arlene and Bruno as they're naturally going to defend their guys and gals. Good luck to the two both X-teams but 'grow up' Arelene and Bruno!

OW MY DAYS!.. what on earth was Arlene thinking letting IFE go.. she was awesome and always puts in 100%.. i think camilla or emanuel should have gone this week they are really weak... i always looked forward to seeing IFE and now she gone! :( .. good luck in the future IFE !! x

I think team Bruno are great. I agree with the comment Bruno made about Arlene not sticking to the rules and using too much of Daniel. I believe the first two votes were made on personality as team Arlene seemed closer, but this is a dance competition, not a personality one. Have agreed with Bruno all the way! Team Arlene are great too, there is no denying that, but Bruno's team have the X!
