Daniele Doesn't Rock It Second Time Round
Team Arlene and Team Bruno 'rocked' the house in an energetic Rock 'n' Roll themed Show Four. But there could only be one winner on the night, and for the second time in a row Arlene's group came out on top, leaving Bruno to lose another contestant.
Team Bruno were up first in eye-catching gold and black outfits dancing to the BodyRockers hit 'I Like the Way You Move'. Bruno was more than happy with the way his team moved saying "you're so 'now', you're 2007 – you're winners!" Team Bruno's choreographer Derek was also pleased with their performance, despite the fact they'd had ups and downs during the week, but Arlene thought one of the team was struggling with the style. "Rana was not 'rock', she was not down and she was out of time."
Team Arlene's dance performance was to 'Can't Stop The Beat' from Hairspray. Although they were in 50's style costumes, Arlene was over-the-moon with the "bang up to date" choreography. She also revealed that she'd been helped this week by the fact that Kalvin and Ife are Rock 'n' Roll champions!
In the singing round, Team Bruno performed the sultry 'Black Velvet'. Bruno was pleased with the choice, saying "We took a huge gamble with this ballad, but it's paid off." CeCe thought they could have done better and that they weren't "singing on the breath." Arlene agreed with CeCe and added that despite Rana's dubious vocals, she really did perform well.
Team Arlene sang 'Can't Stop' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Arlene and her vocal coach Josh were both disappointed with the performance, Arlene saying "I've seen them this week and they were brilliant, but not tonight!"
In the final round Marcquelle and Phoenix were the leading men for Team Bruno, performing to a Wilson Pickett number. CeCe was full of praise saying "that was Rock 'n' Roll at its best, your voices blended so well."
Team Arlene performed to 'Walk This Way' in a routine that saw Ashley walking over the boys in high-heeled boots! Bruno was not impressed and thought they looked like a backing group, with no front person or individual performers.
The two groups performed for a final time before the result of the vote was announced. Presenter Ben Shephard revealed that Team Arlene had once again got the most votes and Team Bruno would lose a second contestant.
Bruno was devastated to lose again, but he had to decide who would keep their place in the team. His first choice was his "star" Marcquelle, second was Phoenix who Bruno said had "proved everyone wrong". He then chose "fabulous dancer" Rana and "all-rounder" Marie, leaving Claire and Daniele to fight for the last place.
They had one last chance to save their DanceX dream, and both Claire and Daniele gave a strong performance in the final dance off. But Bruno had to decide and gave the last place to Claire saying "I really need a strong voice."
Who will be next to leave the competition?

I really thought that Daniele, was brilliant and I think that Team Bruno are going to miss him in all their future performances, I hope that Daniele goes far in this profession and I wish him the best of luck! xx

I can't believe Arlene's team won again! What is going on?!?! Bruno's group were far better this week and last week. They can sing and dance much better than Arlene's group. Daniele was amazing again this week and no one from that team deserved to go. GO TEAM BRUNO!!!! Better luck next week

I agree with Kris and Jeff, Daniele should not have gone and Team Arlene should have lost someone, not Team Bruno.
Kris and Jeff
Daniele you were polished, professional, gracious in defeat and, as we sat and watched in a state of disbelief that the better team had lost for a second week in a row, we all felt very proud of you. Now go into the West End and show them what you can do!
