23 year old Emanuel Tabone is originally from Malta but came to England three years ago after winning a TV talent competition called Bravi (translates as 'talented youths'). The prize for the competition was a three year scholarship to Bodywork dance school in Cambridge. Emanuel entered the competition with no dance experience whatsoever and went on to beat more than 200 others to the first prize. He is currently living in the UK and will graduate from Bodywork later this year. His mum Doris, dad Emanuel, sisters Rose and Carol all still live in Malta.

Emanuel never really liked school and at 13 wanted to work with his father. His dad refused, insisting that he continue his education so that he could eventually oversee the family business. He was sent to boarding school in the UK when he was 13 and finished his GCSEs and A Levels before returning to Malta to work with his family. He worked with his father for two years before entering the TV talent show.

Initially his father wasn't very pleased as he wanted Emanuel to carry on working for him. But, his family came to watch him perform in the UK in his first solo singing performance at Bodyworks where he sang 'Any Dream Will Do' and afterwards his dad told him he'd never been more proud of him. Emanuel says he will never forget that moment.

Emanuel has a girlfriend, Cara, who he met on his course and he recently returned to Malta to perform his final degree show in front of his extended family, many of whom had never seen him dance.

Just one small point, has Emanuel anything to worry about? I'd say yes, Arlenes perpetual "big upping" will lead to his downfall, (either his head'll explode-for no reason, terrible voice, you know I'm talking sense), or the viewing public-me included, will get tired of Emanuel being pushed as the mainstay of the group, look around Arlene, you have MUCH better talent
