FAQs
Q Is the revision material written for a particular exam board syllabus? A No. Our material has been written for use by all students. Our writers carefully study all the examining board syllabi, and choose topics that the majority of students wil be tested on. We adhere to National Curriculum guidelines whenever possible.
Q Is the revision material tiered? A Our content is aimed at an intermediate level, unless otherwise specified. Subjects where tiering is specified are: Maths, Languages and Sciences. The Science subjects are targeted for Double-Award Science students at an intermediate level.
Q Do I need to buy anything? A Not a thing. Each revision site, TV programme and book can be used independently of each other. You can choose as many or as few resources as you need. Use of the website and TV programmes is completely free. We only charge for hard-copy resources such as the books and CD-ROMs.
Q Is this everything I need to know for my exam? A Don't do all your revision from any one resource, BBC or not. Because we provide material for all students to use, there will invariable be individual things that are not covered in Bitesize that could show up on the exam. And let's face it, if we covered absolutely every question that comes up on the exam, we'd be giving you the answers! We recommend that you talk with your teacher about what you should be revising-- they know you and your work, and are the experts on their individual subjects.
