Bowns

Rhagarweiniad - Introduction
Ymunwch â'r cymeriad doniol Bowns i chwarae gêmau difyr ac i ddarllen stori. Mae'r gêmau'n addas ar gyfer plant Y Blynyddoedd Cynnar sy'n rhugl eu Cymraeg, ac ar gyfer dysgwyr yng nghwmni rhieni/oedolion/athrawon.

Join the humorous character Bowns to play some interesting games and to read a story. The games are suitable for Early Learning children who are fluent Welsh speakers, as well as for young Welsh learners in the company of parents/adults/teachers.

Y Gemau - The Games
Mae'r gêmau wedi'u cynllunio i ddatblygu ystod o sgiliau sylfaenol llythrennedd a rhifedd, ynghyd â sgiliau trafod llygoden wrth iddynt ddatblygu medrusrwydd llaw a llygad. Rhaid cael sain i chwarae rhai o'r gêmau.

Rhaid bod Flash 4 Player Macromedia gennych i chwarae'r gêmau hyn. Gallwch lawrlwytho Flash Player am ddim yma. Os yw Flash Player gennych eisoes, cliciwch yma i chwarae.

The games have been designed to help young children to develop a range of fundamental numeracy and literacy skills. Control of the mouse is developed as hand to eye co-ordination improves. You must have sound to play some of the games.

You must have Macromedia's Flash 4 Player installed to play the games. You can download the free Flash Player here. If you have the Flash Player click here to play.

Cyfarwyddiadau - Guidelines
Mae'r gêmau ar gyfer plant rhwng tua 3 - 6 blwydd oed. Gall y plant chwarae'r gêmau ar eu pennau'u hunain ond bydd angen i oedolion/athrawon fod gerllaw i helpu darllen y wybodaeth ar y sgrin a darllen y stori. Swniwch y llythrennau a'r geiriau a welwch ar y sgrîn i'r plant a beth am gyfrif yn uchel? Anogwch a chanmolwch y plant yn gyson.

The Bowns website has lots of games for children of around 3 - 6 years of age to enjoy. Where appropriate children can play the games on their own but adults/teachers will need to be at hand to help with reading information on the screen and with reading the story. Sound out the words you see on the screen to the children and why not count aloud with them? Encourage and praise the children constantly.
