The Ribblehead Viaduct

The famous Ribblehead Viaduct and it's magnificent 24 Arches.
Standing some 100' above the floor of the Pennines, it carries the Settle to Carlisle railway.
Built between 1870-5 it runs for some 440 yards above the valley floor.
This is probably one of the most famous railway bridges in the UK, if not the world!
