Description: The lit-up stapes on this house are larger than the
windows!

Comment:
There is a pleasing sense of symmetry within this presentation.
The eye is drawn immediately along the graceful "train-to-presents"
curvature via bells and sock, resolving perfectly with the imaginative
and provocative inclusion of a snowman. The first floor window is
seemingly ensnared by a blanket of fire, which reminds the viewer
of the pagan elements of the festival. One minor citicism would
be the overly whimsical facial "expression" of Rudolph;
this seems somehow at odds with the overall sense of awe and gravitas
which is evoked. However, to criticise such an elemental display
seems churlish.
We
look forward to next year's display.
