Appleby
Appleby was given to Ranulph de Meschines, by William II in 1092AD

The Appleby New Fair will be held between 6th - 12th June this year.

Coniston
The churchyard in Coniston holds the graves of John Ruskin, James Hewitson VC and Donald Campbell.

The Dock Museum
The museum is built over a Grade II listed dry dock.

In the heart of the Eden Valley, famous for its yearly horse fair and chocolate box appearance, Appleby is a true treasure in the Cumbrian landscape.
