The view from the BBC offices in Carlisle

This medieval castle has been a cornerstone of the history of Carlisle for over 900 years. Today it is the vista from our webcam site based high on our BBC offices.

Oh.. and, er sorry about the lampstand in the middle of the picture - we can't do much about that. We update every five minutes during daylight hours, Monday to Friday, and throughout the afternoon at weekends.
