Emma Jones, Poet in Residence

We meet up with the new Poet in Residence at the Wordsworth Trust, Emma Jones.

The Lake District has always been a haven for the arts, from the works of Kurt Schwitters to the poetry of William Wordsworth. Now there's an antipodean voice to add to the mix.

The Wordsworth Trust at Grasmere have appointed their Poet in Residence for this year, Emma Jones, an award winning poet from Australia.

We caught up with Emma, after she'd only been at Grasmere for a week to find out a little more on her, her poetry and what she thought of the Lake District ...

We also persuaded Emma to read one of her poems for us ...
