I have lived in Windermere and have been visiting and staying in the Lake District since childhood. We are fortunate in the north west to have some great cities but also some of the most spectacular and beautiful scenery anywhere, these are "my" landscapes. Many of my abstract works are based on the colours, shapes and textures of Cumbria and the Morecambe Bay area" "Twin Towers" was selected for the Urban Legends show in San Diego by the Digital Art Guild in Oct 2008 The BBC is not responsible for the content of external websites Words and pictures courtesy of Andrew Mercer. last updated: 03/12/2008 at 15:30 SEE ALSOYou are in: Cumbria > People > Art and artists > Andrew Mercer
