Jonathan Crosby

My name is Jonathan Crosby and I'm from Whitehaven in Cumbria, the basis for my work is cult iconic images of music, film and sports stars depicting them using hints of the pop art era, while using my own original style. Each canvas is painted by hand using acrylics.

I am currently exhibiting my work in an art gallery in Manchester city centre called Stroon and also a gallery in Newton le Willows called Mood Art and am currently in talks with a gallery in Cheshire who would like to showcase my work.

I also have my work on display upstairs in Contemporary which is a fashion clothes shop on King St in Whitehaven, Cumbria. I'm also looking to exhibit my work around other parts of Cumbria.

I have also had my work signed by some of the Icons that I've painted Jonny Marr - The Smiths guitarist and Badly Drawn Boy, which were then auctioned off for Manchester V Cancer.
