My photography ranges from landscapes, nature and travel to commissions of interesting buildings. As an experienced mountaineer I have travelled extensively and led expeditions in the British Isles, Greenland, Iceland, The European Alps and Nepal and my photography reflects my passion for the outdoors. ![]() Andrew Barbier It has been my good fortune to explore many beautiful places in the world. I am inspired by lighting and all its grandeur and I am passionate about all the many colours that result. I have always felt it is a privilege to visit remote places. I try to capture images that reflect the essence of these locations and enjoy communicating this to other people. My latest work has been inspired by the idea of playing with landscape photography traditions. I am interested in taking ‘portrait’ photographs of ‘landscape’ scenes and the twist in dynamic it creates. Currently in my portfolio are images of Cumbria and the Lake District, The British Isles, Scotland, Nepal, The European Alps, Greenland and Iceland. Related links
