What's your story about?

It is an example of the emotional changes you go through on becoming an adult and how we all can change.  It shows how anger can rule your mind and confuse others because they don’t understand where it comes from. My story doesn’t tell you where anger comes from, in this case its not important. My story just shows how it can effect you and peoples opinions.

Why did you choose to tell this particular story?

It was one of the first few ideas that popped into my head that had something with a bit more meaning. I wanted to share my experience of emotional turbulence at a young age and maybe to let others know in the same position that it will turn out alright but first you have to make that change. Sounds a bit naff but its true

What was the experience of making your digital story like?

The experience for me was not in the actual process of making the film but rather in meeting other people. It made a welcomed change to speak to people that I would otherwise not have a conversation with and to share knowledge with each other … this includes different stories involving dogs, fire engines, China, ladders, pavements…. Having a glimpse into these other peoples lives is what made it worthwhile.

Please tell us about yourself.

Me? Well …I’m South African born and bred but often get mistaken for an Oz and some kids even said I was from Yemen. I study and live graphic design and often catch myself looking at writing on signs and packets of sweets and wondering what font they used…boring...yes… but if you study what I study you will know what I'm talking about. I like to try make people feel relaxed even if it means me sticking my neck out and embarrassing myself.
