Afro-beat: Extra

Listen in as legendary drummer Tony Allen, one of the creators of the Afro-beat sound, plays a new track with the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble from the US. The core of the track, entitled Sankofa, is Tony's original drum rhythms and HBE rehearse their own melodies on top of those beats - live for the first time.
