Taken - Official site
The official site from the Sci Fi channel is beautiful, with lots of information on the show, downloads, and video. Particularly cool is their interactive family tree, where you can drag and drop characters from Taken to find out more about their relationships. Be warned, though - it's spoilery if you haven't seen the whole series.
BBCi Space - Life?
This BBCi website looks at the science of life on other planets. Find out what conditions could give rise to life other planets, and how UFOs and crop circles could be explained using current scientific knowledge. It'll even tell you about the arguments for UFOs and the existence of aliens. You can vote on all kinds of topics, too.
The SETI Institute
'The mission of the SETI Institute is to explore, understand and explain the origin, nature and prevalence of life in the universe.' SETI - the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence - is a scientific institute which, among other things, listens to the skies in the hope that we might pick up radio signals from alien life. You can download the SETI@Home screen saver, that helps analyse data that might prove the existence of aliens...
The Computer UFO Network
'We strive to present material relating to UFO phenomena and the search for UFO-related government documents obtained through official channels in a fair and accurate manner.' - and that's exactly what they do do. This site is a huge resource, full of documents relating to UFO sitings and government cover-ups. They even promise that they'll let you form your own opinion, and point out when they're expressing theirs!
'An information site on the UFO phenomenon by and for professional scientists.' This site is heavy going, as it's written by a doctor of astronomy. However, there are articles that go into arguments against UFOs in depth, and it's certainly one to quote from if you ever want to win an argument in the pub - it'll leave you looking very intelligent indeed.
