UFO stars dead

Two of the stars of UFO have passed away.

Ed Bishop and Michael Billington who played Commander Ed Straker and Colonel Paul Foster in the Gerry Anderson sci fi series UFO died within days of each other.

Ed Bishop's also provided the voice of Captain Blue in Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons. Other credits include Diamonds Are Forever, 2001: A Space Odyssey and numerous television appearances including The Professionals, The Saint and Out of the Unknown.

Michael Billington appeared in The Prisoner, The Onedin Line, Fantasy Island and Hart to Hart.
