Cookie monster crumbles

Sesame Street wheel on the veggies.

Our jaws dropped when we were told that The Cookie Monster will now be telling viewers that "Cookies are a sometimes food".

In efforts to curb America's youth obesity problem, the Cookie Monster shall become a Cookie Miser, pointing out that there are other options for a balanced and rewarding diet.

The Other Options will be present in person, thanks to the show's cast expanding to include talking vegetables.

Next, they'll be diagnosing The Count with low-level autism. And as for that Bert and Ernie...
