Tru Calling extended

Tru Calling extended

Fox have increased its commitment to Tru Calling by commissioning more episodes.

The network has announced that it has ordered seven more episodes of the series starring Eliza Dushku (Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

This will take the total number of episodes in its first year to the industry norm of 22.

The announcement heralds a great leap of faith (sorry) by Fox - the first four episodes of the series aired so far have only averaged a disappointing 4.02 million viewers.

In Tru Calling Eliza plays Tru Davies, a morgue worker who receives messages from the dead. To prevent their deaths, Tru travels back in time.
